As a nonprofit organization, Howard Brown Health participates in Giving Tuesday, a yearly event occurring the Tuesday after Thanksgiving that encourages donors to give so nonprofits can raise money to continue providing services for their communities. 
The Communications team collaborates with the Development team on the Giving Tuesday campaign to develop an exciting concept to garner donations and inform those of where exactly the donations received are going.
This year's campaign followed a fairytale theme with storybook elements and an iconographic series of images based on various films, including Disney's Fantasia, Cinderella, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Tangled, and MGM's The Wizard of Oz. Each image highlights a few of the many services Howard Brown provides: facilities, social services, interview clothing to Broadway Youth Center clients, discounts on Uber rides, and of course, LGBTQ+ healthcare.
Through the campaign, Howard Brown Health was able to surpass its goal by almost double the expected amount of $20,000, earning a total of $38,653.
