The Pride Train is a yearly Chicago Transit Authority campaign designed around the celebration of LGBTQ Pride in June. However, even with a design in mind, COVID-19 caused a shift in the overall mood for the anticipation for Pride 2020, as everyone became unsure of how to celebrate in the midst of a pandemic.
2020's campaign was dedicated to Howard Brown Health's frontline healthcare workers across Chicago and centers around the word "essential", and what that means to us as their colleagues, as well as to the patients of Howard Brown Health.
Background elements were designed around the model for flattening the curve to promote forward movement during a time of uncertainty.
The campaign is featured every year on the CTA Red Line train and its cooperating stations.
